Pastor Kirt grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho. He came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while in college. At that time his heart was burdened for the local church and he felt called by God to be a pastor. He received a B.S. in Organizational Communications at Idaho State University. After graduation, he worked as claims adjuster for Farmer's Insurance. He then worked for Grace College in Indiana while completing a Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. He has been in pastoral ministry for over 15 years. 

Pastor Kirt is married to Vickie. She grew up in Filer, Idaho. She came to know Jesus Christ as a student in college. She graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Weber State University in Utah. Kirt and Vickie have 3 children: Keagan, Landon, and Paige.
